There are many reasons to love La Super Rica. It's undeniably quaint with teal blue accents along the boxy exterior. But it is Julia Childs love of the food that put the taqueria on the culinary map in Santa Barbara. 

Locals may debate the finer points of Santa Barbara's taco scene, but we recommend forgoing Yelp. Item #16, "The Super Rica," (rajas with marinated pork) is worth ordering. And with homemade tortillas to order — you just can't go wrong.
